Michelle Warbis

Michelle leads the Regeneration Investment team in MHCLG’s Cities and Local Growth Unit. The team looks to drive private investment in regeneration projects across England to promote inclusive growth and shared prosperity; and works across the breadth of the sector - including real estate, PropTech, Business Improvement Districts, commercial property, and development - to deliver for places and communities. 

Prior to this she worked at Future Cities Catapult where she delivered a number of digital placemaking and PlanTech projects, and led domestic and international policy analysis and engagement. She has also worked at the Greater London Authority, delivering social research to support policy design across the Development, Economy and Environment directorate, and is a qualified town planner beginning her career at Southwark Council.
