Accommodation BIDs

An Accommodation Business Improvement District (ABID) is a specific type of BID made up of hotels, serviced apartments, guest houses, and other lodging businesses, who pay an annual levy.

Services provided depend on the requirements of the businesses and area and could consist of marketing campaigns, enhanced public realm initiatives and securing large events and conferences to drive overnight stays.

Projects are funded through a supplementary charge per room, per night for guests, which is added to the accommodation cost.
