Jill Farnsworth is Head of Operations and Development at Watford BID. She is responsible for delivering the projects set out in the BID’s five year Business Plan, specifically those that are designed to enhance the look and feel of the area; building relationships with member businesses and local stakeholders; launching and delivering the BID's Service Excellence Awards and more besides.

She previously worked for the Town Centre Partnership Board; developing the BID Business Plan: 2016-2021 and engaging with local businesses to secure the yes vote in the BID ballot in October 2015.

Jill has extensive public and private sector experience, having worked for six years as the Political Assistant to the Elected Mayor of Watford at Watford Borough Council and prior to that eight years in the PR agency & media environment.

Jill studied economics at Strathclyde University, graduating in 2000 with a 2.1 honours degree.
