Duration: Fixed term, until 31/03/2029 (Probationary period of six months). Possible extension beyond this point, subject to a successful renewal ballot.
Hours of work: Based on 15 hours per week (although this is negotiable depending on the experience of the candidate), with regular flexible working required, to include evening, weekend and occasional bank holidays to meet the requirements of the BID.
Holidays: To be proportionally allocated based on full-time (37.5 hour) equivalent of 25 days per year, plus 8 days for public holidays.
Salary: £13,600 per annum (which is a full-time equivalent of approximately £34k), with eligibility for a contributory pension following the probationary period.
The Andover Business Improvement District (BID) is a not-for-profit organisation and works with over 240 town centre business members to improve the environment and provide additionality in the town. The Social Media/Comms Coordinator will create and deliver a successful communications programme for Andover Town Centre businesses, working closely with the BID Manager, Business Development Administrator, Test Valley Borough Council, and other stakeholders. This role involves planning, promotion, execution, and evaluation to enhance the town’s profile and benefit BID levy payers.
