Duration: Fixed term, until 31/03/2029 (Probationary period of three months). Possible extension beyond this point, subject to a successful renewal ballot.
Hours of work: Based on 20 hours per week with regular flexible working required, to include evening, weekend and occasional bank holidays to meet the requirements of the BID.
Holidays: To be proportionally allocated based on full-time (37.5 hour) equivalent of 25 days per year, plus 8 days for public holidays.
Salary: £13,333 per annum (which is a full-time equivalent of approximately £25k), with eligibility for a contributory pension following the probationary period.
The Andover Business Improvement District (BID) is a not-for-profit organisation and works with over 240 town centre business members to improve the environment and provide additionality in the town. A role has been established to support the BID manager in delivering key initiatives that enhance the town’s business environment. Your role will be to carry out administrative duties including answering the phone, monitoring emails, arranging meetings, maintaining the CRM database, keeping accurate records, getting involved in planning and assisting at events, trails and other initiatives and overseeing regular members bulletins and newsletters as well as updating the website.
