Loqiva is a technology platform which helps BIDs to promote town centres more effectively to local communities.

Residents download an app branded for their town centre which delivers a wide range of personalised content based upon factors like the user’s location, the time, their interests and the weather. Meanwhile, local businesses are able to login to their own portal to publish content, view insights and create location-triggered offers. BID managers can also access a powerful communications dashboard with local analytics.

Loqiva has been designed to help town centres to become more connected and help local residents to participate in the success of where they live. The Coronavirus crisis has led many people to appreciate the importance of local shops and the High Street. A lot of residents have gone out of their way to buy locally and this has fostered a new sense of community.

Loqiva is hosting a webinar which will examine how BIDs, together with local businesses, can encourage communities to participate in reopening their town centres as lockdown starts to ease.
