Virtual National BIDs Conference 2020

Bringing the BID industry together for an annual celebration at our National BIDs Conference is British BIDs' highlight of the year. However, your safety is our top priority so we have moved our Leadenhall Building conference to 25th March and are hosting a virtual conference on 5th November.

BIDs are facing a hugely challenging agenda as we emerge from COVID-19, with much to be considered. Our Virtual National BIDs Conference 2020 will be an opportunity to debate these issues and share our insights. What does the future look like for BIDs?

Themes that will be discussed will include;

  • Curating the high street 
    How do we reactivate and repurpose the high street? How do we adapt to less retail and reconfigure and rethink the use of property assets? How do we encourage offices and office workers back? 
  • How can and should BIDs become more community focused? 
    Looking at Community Improvement Districts and more inclusive partnership models.
  • The future of BIDs and income streams
    Business uncertainty will put pressure on BID levies. In a post-COVID world where is the income going to come from and how will BIDs deliver?
