For this November’s National BIDs conference we have strived to bring together a range of the best and brightest speakers. Speakers that will address the issues facing high streets and BIDs throughout the country, and who won’t be afraid to discuss the threats and opportunities places are facing. In fact, quite the opposite!
The Rt Hon Lord Adonis, Jackie Sadek, Marie Hickey and David Downey will all address the delegates and there will be a call to arms for the industry to seize power and grab the opportunities available, as well as debating what these opportunities actually are. Where can BIDs channel their powers? What does the economy look like moving forward and what does regeneration and place shaping really look like? Is physical retail dead? How do you create good customer experiences? All of this and much more will be discussed with plenty of opportunity for panel debate and questions from the floor.
The conference agenda has been curated to create conversation and stir debate. With a choice of masterclasses focusing on place making, night time economies, evidencing value to levy payers, the role of Crime Reduction Partnerships and much more there is something for everyone. The conference will also see the announcement of the results of the 2018 National BIDs Survey. All taking place within the beautiful grounds of Downing College, Cambridge.
