Another month has passed whilst being in a national lockdown, but it isn’t all bad news as we’ve seen several more BIDs achieve a successful ballot result, securing a 5-year term for renewing and developing BIDs across the country.
During the lockdown we have been talking to BIDs on the challenges and scenarios which have arisen since the start of the pandemic. The way in which our BID community has pulled together and shared their ideas and knowledge with one another has been invaluable. BIDs have had to work hard to adapt their usual model of delivery, and in doing so, have shown great resilience. It is clear that BIDs remain crucial and continue to be vital to the recovery of our town and cities.
In March we saw 17 BIDs achieve a majority YES vote and you can see these results below. Many more BIDs are set to go to ballot throughout the year and we will continue to update the industry on these results. Well done to all BIDs so far!
