BACK TO PLAN A, NOW NO MORE TO-ING AND FRO-ING!

We are no longer being advised to work from home. This is especially good news for our city centres which rely on their large office populations, and our new part-home part-office work weeks will no doubt continue to benefit our suburban towns too. We hope this is the last of the to-ing and fro-ing that we’ve seen over the past two years, and BIDs up and down the country can now focus on what they do best – making their high streets and centres interesting, and attracting visitors and shoppers back safely so they can support their local businesses.

This year, BIDs are going to have a vital role to play in helping our local areas build back from Covid. And we are on a mission to further raise public awareness of BIDs and shout about the important work happening. We will be ramping up our efforts to document and share what you are doing (both across the industry and to the wider public) to support your businesses and help your area build back after the pandemic. So drop us a private message or email and let us know what you are working on – we would love to talk to you on our industry podcast, feature you in one of our blogs, film a short community film with you, or include you in some of our press coverage.
