Purpose of role

To ensure The Fitzrovia Partnership maintains a member centric approach and ensure members needs are at the heart of the BIDs & proposed BIDs work programme.  To manage a member relationship plan and organise member communication.

To develop voluntary membership of the BID & proposed BID and promote an develop business engagement within the proposed BID area.

The role will report to Lee Lyons – Chief Operating Officer.           

Key responsibilities 

  • A Fitzrovia Partnership team member, present a professional, well presented face of the organisation
  • Develop, implement and manage a member relationship plan.  Build relationships with local businesses
  • Maintain and improve member engagement, identify member needs and liaise with appropriate team members with regard to project delivery
  • Ensure that all potential new BID area businesses are engaged with the new business plan and timeline
  • Support the agreed corporate communications plan.  Produce the regular member and B2B communications content working together with the Partnership team. Update and develop the corporate web-site as appropriate
  •  Ensure the corporate brand is consistent across all Partnership communications working closely with the Partnership’s Marketing Manager
  • Introduce the Partnership to new members and seek to engage them within the BID’s work
  • Manage new member communication plan and produce regular member communications as agreed
  • Manage and develop the Partnership’s member database.  Ensure the team use and update the database effectively
  • Develop voluntary membership, set targets for new membership and lead recruitment programme
  • Assist the development of the current BID’s geographical footprint, undertake analysis and introduce the BID to potential future BID members
  • Carry out any other reasonable activities commensurate with role as required.

Person Specification

  • Well-presented and professional in approach
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills essential
  • Knowledge of database management preferable
  • Self-motivated and flexible approach
  • BID engagement experience preferable
  • BID company knowledge required
