Business Liaison Supervisor

Reporting to:
City Centre Operations Manager

Job function:
Direct responsibility for ensuring effectiveness of the Business Liaison Team and managing time effectively. Day to day management of the Business Liaison Officers, including KPI performance management, reporting delivery frameworks, compliance, recruitment, discipline, reporting for payroll and HR purposes, training and liaison with management and external consultants and agencies as appropriate.

This role is based in Nottingham City on a full-time basis with flexibility on working hours over 7 days to meet the needs of the levy payers.


Responsibilities

  • Management of daily, weekly and monthly business liaison plans and performance.
  • Hold daily morning briefings with Business Liaison Officers, following City Centre Operations Manager direction.
  • Provide practical support to CEO and City Centre Operations Manager in relation to Levy Members, communicating relevant information.
  • Role model the Company’s values, positively embracing initiatives and supporting successful implementation to delivery of projects and events.
  • To carry out specific liaison duties as required by BID management, or its partners as requested by BID management.
  • Contribute to the provision of daily presence around the city to maximise contact with BID members.
  • Report damage or incidents to the appropriate authority which a Business Liaison Officer believes may constitute a health and safety concern.
  • Attend training as and when required by the Company relevant to the role, and to assume full responsibility of the City Centre Operations Manager as and when required.
  • Work with Senior Leadership Team to ensure member records are accurate and compliant with GDPR.
  • Strict attention to personal responsibilities in the areas of risk management and health, safety and welfare.
  • Report to the senior leadership team any relevant information relating to BID business and potential Affiliates.
  • Assist in crime reduction initiatives, working to improve the perception of the city centre as a safe place in which to be.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures as set out in the Staff Handbook.
  • Maintaining a clean CRB check throughout employment.

Person Specification

  • Numerate and literate with minimum GCSE A-C in mathematics and English.
  • Qualifications in Supervisory Management or minimum of 2 years in a supervisory management role.
  • Experience of performance management, data analysis, time management, excellent communication skills and prioritisation.
  • Familiar with Nottingham City Centre.
  • Passionate about Nottingham.
