Job Title: Business Liaison Officer, Office Specialist

Reporting to: Business Liaison Officer Supervisor

Salary and benefits: £23,000 pro rata. Benefits include paid voluntary charity days, extra holidays relevant to length of service, your birthday off. Employee health and wellness activities. Cycle to work scheme. Flexible working hours, phone, iPad and laptop.

Working hours: 24 hours per week. This role is based in Nottingham city centre on a part-time basis, with flexibility on working hours over 7 days to Meet the needs of the city.

It’s in Nottingham – we are an independent, not-for-profit organisation, run on behalf of our city centre business members. Working with our members, and often with our partners Nottingham City Council and Visit Nottinghamshire, we’ve the exciting job of promoting Nottingham city centre as a destination for locals and visitors of all ages to enjoy.

Our mission: to create a thriving, safe, clean and vibrant city centre where people can have an amazing time shopping, eating and drinking, visiting attractions, working and studying – a city centre which they feel inspired to come back to, again and again.

About you:

We are looking for a confident, charismatic and approachable individual who is able manage their workload in an organised and timely fashion. This role will ideally suit someone looking for the flexibility with hours, whilst still being able to achieve goals within a job. Job role:

To work with a range of office sector businesses, delivering a range of products, campaigns and services It’s in Nottingham provide. You will be the main point of contact for these businesses, keeping records up to date of primary contact details, having regular meetings with businesses and to build relationships with them to help solidify It’s in Nottingham’s brand within the city.

To help launch the ‘It’s in Nottingham Gift Card Program’ to the corporate sector, you will use your relationships built in the sector to promote and sell the city’s new gift card, changing corporate views on traditional R&R and helping offices improve their CSR.

Host regular forums for the office sector to provide a space for office managers and PAs to network and encourage collaboration, whilst highlighting the work It’s in Nottingham are doing within the city.

To achieve regular KPI’s focused on member engagement and feedback from members.

Skills/experience required:

  • Experience within the office sector.
  • Proficient in the use of CRM systems.
  • Accurate data keeping through CRM, Excel and Outlook.
  • Be able to achieve regular KPI results.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Able to build and maintain relationships with members with regular engagement.
  • The ability to have difficult conversations.
  • A proactive and positive approach to tasks.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures set out in the staff handbook.
  • Passionate about Nottingham and its future.
  • Ability to work independently, but also a team player.
