South Bank Employers’ Group (SBEG) is a membership association of the major and pre-eminent organisations in the South Bank and Waterloo area, dedicated to achieving the best possible experience for employees, residents, and visitors. SBEG is a not-for-profit company, set up in 1991 by a group of businesses and employers to regenerate and transform South Bank. We are the champions of South Bank, protecting and enhancing this unique area through creativity, collaboration, and effective delivery. We work on behalf of businesses, employees, residents, students, and visitors, by setting the agenda, breaking the mould, facilitating co-operation, and delivering programmes that bring improvement and change which protect and enhance this unique area to the benefit of all. SBEG set up South Bank BID in 2014 and continues to operate as the BID’s delivery agenda, accountable to the Board of South Bank BID Ltd. The BID is one of the country’s most successful, having secured a 99% mandate from its levy payers in the 2019 ballot.

South Bank is an incredibly dynamic area and continues to undergo significant change, with high-profile development projects underway and more planned. For over 30 years, SBEG has been at the heart of these changes and remains committed to addressing the future needs of the area. Our Place Management team is small but highly innovative and ambitious, with a proven track record of making real improvements to the area for all. The role of Head of Place Management is a critical one, with an equal emphasis on strategic oversight and operational delivery. Our work is complex, and the Head of Place Management must deliver to specific targets and objectives, which always looking ahead at how best to achieve our purpose. Reporting to SBEG’s Director of Place and working closely with all SBEG’s members and the wider business community, you’ll lead and deliver important work for SBEG, South Bank Business Improvement District, and Jubilee Gardens Trust.
