Location: London
Job Type: Full Time (9:30am - 5:30pm)
Application Deadline: 10th November 2023
Stewardship and community are our watchwords. Our challenge is to continually improve and exceed rising expectations and we need an exceptional person to help us do that.
If this is you, we would like to hear from you:
We would like you to manage Sloane Street to the standards of a Business Improvement District (BID). Liaising closely with retailers to understand their needs, pulling together occasional informal retailer meetings, implementing and communicating a programme of services, and develop similar BID-type mechanisms for other locations on the Cadogan Estate, particularly Sloane Square, Pavilion Road, and Duke of York Square.
You will also liaise closely with the two existing BIDs – King’s Road Partnership & Knightsbridge Partnership – to maximise their value to Cadogan and to ensure that our respective programmes are aligned and integrated.
You will work closely with the projects team in implementing major public realm schemes on the estate, notably the Future Sloane Street project that went on site in Summer 2022. You will help developing future public realm schemes, liaise with other agencies in shaping the plans and lead on strategic communications with retailers and other stakeholders.
You will develop important and strong relationships with local Councillors, prominent residents, other stakeholders and our customers, helping us work as a positive force for good and as the responsible long term steward of the area.
This is a role that will require you to be on patch and visible. We offer flexible working from home one day a week and a part time role may be considered for the right person.
The remuneration package will reflect the person and the role, and we offer an excellent pension, a 25-day holiday allowance and other benefits.
You do not need to have a CV prepared at this stage. If this position appeals to you then please make contact with our retained consultant Sue Prytherch sue@natural-talents.co.uk; Sue will be happy to set up a call or to supply further details in confidence.
Closing date for applications is Friday 10th November.
All direct and third-party applications will be redirected to Sue.
