Huntingdon is a thriving market town in Cambridgeshire. The Town Centre boasts a choice of boutique and national shops, historic heritage, riverside walks and other activities. 

BID Huntingdon has been in operation since 2012 and is now looking for an exceptional individual to manage the delivery of the BID’s business plan. 

The BID Manager is required to report to a board of directors and will lead a small team of staff in its strategic direction and day-to-day operations. The successful candidate must be a confident communicator, experienced in budget management and very comfortable dealing with a wide variety of external stakeholders. Experience in working with private and public sector organisations is desirable, as well as the skills to act as an ambassador for the town locally and nationally.  Experience in marketing and promotional activities will be an advantage. The successful candidate will also be expected to work towards the renewal of the BID in 2022.

This is very much a hands-on role - ideal for someone with a passion for town centre development and making things happen. You will be self-motivated with the ability to develop, juggle and deliver a variety of projects and services, manage a company and budgets, maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to ensure quantifiable results for BID businesses, stakeholders, sponsors and local people.
