Feedback from recent attendees:

“Very informative and great to discuss renewal with people who have gone through it before and are in the same position.”

“The course was fantastic. Being new to the BID industry I found the course really informative and engaging. Paul ensured he knew where everyone was at in terms of their own BID and engaged with us individually when points were particularly important. Can’t recommend this course enough.”

Governance & Responsibilities of the BID Board

New for 2017 and free for British BID members. This one day course is focused on BID Board members.

As the BID industry continues to expand, one of the most important issues for BIDs, their Boards, levy payers, local authorities and Government are that good governance arrangements and quality management systems are in place and operate throughout the term.

To be sure that any BID is being managed with the very highest standards aimed at compliance, transparency and inclusiveness, Board members, particularly BID Chairs, need to be fully aware of their corporate and legal responsibilities, as well as compliance with the particular Regulations governing BIDs. As scrutiny of and challenge to BIDs quite understandably increases, it is the responsibility of Boards to evidence to levy payers that they fully understand the importance of their role and attendance at this Course will help support this.

Drawing upon legal frameworks, this invaluable one day Course will also draw upon and exchange best practice examples, as well as highlighting where it could all go wrong.

Friday 28 July 2017,  10 am – 4pm (Venue: The Office Group, The Bloomsbury Building,10 Bloomsbury Way, London, WC1A 2SL). Book now by emailing contact@britishbids.info

Bookings will be taken on a first come, first served basis. To secure your Chair’s place please email contact@britishbids.info. £395 non British BIDs members rate.
